Michael Zaletel, an MSD faculty scientist, has been elected a 2025 American Physical Society (APS) Fellow, an honor that recognizes advances in physics through original research and publications, and innovative contributions in the application of physics. Zaletel was recognized for his, “pioneering contributions to the understanding of topological aspects of condensed matter, including those arising in moiré materials, and to computational methods for correlated systems.”
